About Neon Air Hockey
Air hockey is pure speed: a puck that floats on air, two mallets and one goal to defend. It is one of the most popular arcade tables ever, and it works brilliantly on a touch screen because you simply drag your mallet with a finger.
Neon Air Hockey keeps every match short and intense. A full game to seven goals takes three to five minutes, which makes it perfect for a quick rematch — and there is always a rematch.
How to play Neon Air Hockey
- Drag your mallet around your own half of the rink. On a touch screen, two players can each use a finger at the same time.
- Hit the puck into the goal at the far end. Bounce it off the side walls for angles your rival will not expect.
- On a keyboard, player 1 uses W A S D and player 2 uses the arrow keys. A mouse controls the half it is over.
Rules
- First player to 7 goals wins the match.
- You can only move your mallet in your own half of the rink — no reaching over the centre line.
- After each goal the puck is reset and play starts again.
- Against the computer, choose Easy to warm up or Hard for a real fight.
Tips to win
- Stay between the puck and your goal when you are not attacking.
- A quick tap is often better than a full swing — it keeps your mallet ready for the rebound.
