Neon Stumble — free 3D party obstacle race

New1 player2–4 min

Sixteen jelly beans, three wild rounds and only one crown. Dodge spinning bars and swinging hammers, bounce over the gaps, keep moving on the falling hex floors and race up the tower to grab the floating crown. A whole show takes about three minutes and starts with one tap.

How to play
  1. Move with W A S D or the arrow keys. On a phone, use the joystick at the bottom left.
  2. Jump with Space (JUMP on a phone) to clear the spinning bars, gaps and ledges.
  3. Dive with Shift (DIVE on a phone) for a burst of speed: great over the finish line and for long gaps.
  4. Drag with the mouse to look around. Press P to pause and M to turn the sound on or off.
About Neon Stumble

Neon Stumble is a party obstacle race in the style of the big bean-battle hits, built to play instantly in your browser. You and 15 computer beans, from clumsy Wobbles and Noodle to the speedy aces, start every show together. Each round knocks beans out until one is left wearing the crown.

Round 1, Neon Dash, is a race over a candy course floating above a neon sea: spinning bars to jump, bounce pads that launch you over a gap, rotating discs, hammers that swing across the track and a conveyor belt with sliding walls. The first 10 beans over the finish line qualify. Round 2, Hex Drop, stacks three floors of glowing hex tiles. Every tile you touch cracks and drops away, so you keep hopping until only 5 beans are standing. Round 3, Crown Climb, is the final: climb a spiral tower of moving ledges, spin bars and bounce pads, then jump for the crown.

Nobody gets hurt. Falling is funny, beans wobble and squish, and you start again at the last checkpoint in the race and the climb. Win crowns to unlock 8 skins, from Tiger Stripes and Galaxy to Robo Bean and Gold Crown. Skins are never sold.

Rules
  • A show has 3 rounds: the top 10 of 16 qualify in Neon Dash, the last 5 standing qualify in Hex Drop, and the first bean to touch the crown wins Crown Climb.
  • Fall off in the race or the climb and you go back to the last checkpoint. In Hex Drop, falling through all three floors knocks you out.
  • Your score: qualifying in Neon Dash gives 1,000 plus a bonus for your finishing place, surviving Hex Drop adds 1,500 and the crown adds 3,100.
  • Neon Stumble does not give Points yet: play for crowns, skins and the weekly leaderboard. Ads never give Points.
Tips to win
  • Jump just before a spinning bar reaches you, not when it is right in front of you.
  • In Hex Drop, stand still for a moment on each fresh tile, then hop to the next one. Running everywhere eats your own floor.
  • Use the bounce pads in the tower: they skip a whole set of ledges.
FAQ

Is Neon Stumble free?

Yes. Neon Stumble is free to play in any modern browser, with nothing to download or install.

Can I play Neon Stumble on my phone?

Yes. On a phone you get a joystick plus big JUMP and DIVE buttons, and the game picks a graphics quality that keeps it smooth.

Who are the other players?

Fifteen computer beans with their own names and skills. Some are aces, some stumble a lot, so every show plays out differently.

How do I unlock skins?

Win crowns. Your first crown unlocks Tiger Stripes, and more skins unlock at 2, 3, 5, 8, 12 and 20 crowns. Skins are never sold.

Is it OK for kids?

Yes. There is no violence: beans just wobble, bounce and fall into the soft neon sea. Children can play freely.
