How rewards work — play free, earn Points, get gift cards

Neon Arcade is free, and playing pays off. Eligible players earn Points for wins, good runs and daily activity, and can redeem them for gift cards from our catalogue. Every request is reviewed by hand. Here is exactly how it works, with nothing hidden in small print. Your wallet always shows what is available to your account.

1. Play and earn Points

• Beat the computer in 8-Ball Pool, Connect 4 or Air Hockey: Easy +10, Normal +25, Hard +50 Points per win.
• Win online in 8-Ball Pool or Connect 4 against a real player: +30 Points per completed win (games against computer-controlled opponents never pay online Points).
• Run in Neon Runner: 1 Point for every 250 score, up to 120 Points per run.

2. Bonuses

• Daily play bonus for your first finished game of the day.
• Personal-best bonuses when you beat your own best score (a few times a day).
• Three daily missions with their own Points.
• Welcome bonus: it unlocks after your first 3 accepted games lasting at least 15 seconds each.
• Invite a friend: you both get a bonus once your friend has really played (several accepted games on two different days). Limits apply.

3. Weekly seasons and prizes

• A new season starts every Monday at 00:00 UTC. When a season has prizes, the bonus Points for each place are announced on the leaderboard at the start of the season. If no amounts are shown, that season has no prizes.
• Prizes go to the top real players aged 18+ (19 in Alabama and Nebraska, 21 in Mississippi) and are booked after a 7-day fair-play check. Backgammon and 8-Ball Pool are not counted for prizes. Full details: Season Official Rules in the Terms.
• The top 3 players with an account on every board also get a permanent season badge, which has no cash value.
• When few people are online, the leaderboards and quick matches can include computer-controlled players. They never take a prize place and never earn Points, prizes or badges.

4. Fair and checked

• Our server checks every result before Points are added. New Points are pending for 24 hours, and there is a daily limit of 1,000 Points.
• Cheating, bots or more than one account cancel the Points gained that way.
• You never earn Points for watching or clicking ads.

5. Request a gift card

• You must be 18 or older (19 in Alabama and Nebraska, 21 in Mississippi), with a verified email and an account at least 14 days old.
• Choose a card listed for your country in our catalogue and request it with your confirmed Points. One request at a time.
• Our team reviews every request by hand. Requests are limited to about $20 per player per month and are approved only while the monthly rewards budget lasts. A refused or cancelled request returns your Points in full.
• If your request is approved, the gift card is sent to your account email. The Points price of each card is shown in the store and can change for future requests.

Good to know

• Points have no cash value and cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged for money. Rewards are gift cards only.
• Players aged 13 to 17 can play, climb the leaderboards and win badges, but do not earn Points.
• Everything is free. No purchase is ever needed.
