Cyber Siege — free 3D mech survival game

New1 player3–10 min

Drop into a volcanic foundry in the Vanguard-01 combat mech and hold the arena for 10 minutes. Hundreds of alien machines pour in, a Goliath Titan stomps over the wall at minute 5, and at 8:30 the floor itself starts to erupt. Every run gets wilder the longer you last.

How to play
  1. Move with W A S D or the arrow keys. On a phone, drag anywhere on the screen to move.
  2. Your mech aims and fires by itself. On a computer you can switch on mouse aim in the lobby.
  3. Press Space (OVERDRIVE on a phone) for a burst that blasts enemies away and gets you out of trouble.
  4. Pick up the Energon gems to fill your XP bar. Each level up lets you choose an upgrade: tap or click a card, or press 1, 2 or 3 on the keyboard.
  5. Press Esc or P to pause and M to turn the sound on or off.
About Cyber Siege

Cyber Siege is a survival roguelite in the style of the big “survive the horde” hits, built in 3D to play instantly in your browser. You only steer: your mech aims and fires by itself at the nearest threat. Your job is to keep moving, collect the Energon gems that destroyed machines drop, and choose the right upgrade every time you level up.

The run is a 10-minute story that keeps raising the stakes. It starts with Scuttle Drones, fast spider machines in big swarms. Then come Iron Brutes with armored fronts, then a drop-pod ambush with diving Sky Harpies at 2:30. At minute 5 the Goliath Titan, a giant spider-walker, fires sweeping lasers and mortar shells. After that the swarm speeds up, and at 8:30 the glowing grates in the floor vent fire while an elite Berserker squad hunts you. Survive to 10:00 and you are extracted.

Four weapons build your arsenal: the Plasma Minigun, the Arc Pylon that chains lightning, Cryo Pods that freeze with homing rockets, and Orbital Saws that spin around you. Max a weapon and add its partner module, and it evolves into a super-weapon such as the Hyper-Plasma Rail-Gatling or the Tesla Storm Grid. Every run is a different build.

Rules
  • A run lasts up to 10 minutes. It ends when your mech’s armor runs out, or with extraction when you survive to 10:00.
  • Your score: 100 for every second you survive, 25 for every machine destroyed, 5,000 for the Goliath Titan and 50 for every step of your best combo.
  • The Goliath Titan does not wait forever: if you have not beaten it after about 100 seconds, it retreats over the wall and you get no 5,000-point bonus.
  • Evolutions: a weapon at max level plus its partner module (Reactor Core, Magnet Crane, Nanite Armor or Hyper Thrusters) becomes an overclocked super-weapon.
  • Cyber Siege does not give Points yet. Play for your best score and the leaderboard.
Tips to win
  • Move in wide circles instead of zig-zags. Swarms catch mechs that stop.
  • Iron Brutes block hits from the front, so circle around them.
  • Keep your Overdrive for the Titan’s laser sweep, and stay on the dark stone when the magma vents.
FAQ

Is Cyber Siege free?

Yes. Cyber Siege is free to play in any modern browser, with nothing to download or install.

Can I play Cyber Siege on my phone?

Yes. Drag anywhere to move, your mech aims by itself and a big OVERDRIVE button sits at the bottom right. The game picks a graphics quality that keeps it smooth.

How long is a run?

Up to 10 minutes. Most first runs end earlier, and every upgrade you learn takes you further.

How do evolutions work?

Raise a weapon to its max level and take its partner module. The next level-up offers the evolution, a much stronger super-weapon.

Is it violent?

You only fight robots and alien machines, which break into sparks and scrap. There is no blood and no people get hurt.
